Our recent visit to the Fruit Logistica event in February in Berlin was an invaluable experience—and a chance to experience real European winter.

The sheer scale of the exhibition was impressive, with a multitude of companies showcasing their innovations. The event highlighted rapid advancements and emerging trends in agritech and AI, and we were excited to see how dynamic the field of internal quality analysis has become.
Industry Insights
One of the key takeaways from the event is that while several active players already offer solutions in internal quality analysis, not all analytical needs are fully addressed, and some of the most advanced equipment comes with a high price tag. This reinforced our belief that there is still significant room for innovation, particularly in developing cost-effective solutions that meet growing market demands.

Engaging Conversations
We had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with several well-established companies, including some with representatives in Israel, about customer preferences, market trends, and ongoing R&D efforts.
We were also intrigued by the demonstrations of handheld instruments designed to measure Brix, acidity, and other quality parameters. These devices have the potential to significantly reduce the time and effort required for data collection.
Inspiring New Ideas
Fruit Logistica not only highlighted current trends but also sparked new ideas for us at SeeSpectra. The event underscored the importance of strategic collaborations and revealed new opportunities for expanding our objectives in the future. Moving forward, innovation and precise market fit will be essential in leveraging these insights and driving the industry toward more accessible and effective solutions.
